A privacy policy is a statement or a legal document (in privacy law) that discloses some or all of the ways a party gathers, uses, discloses, and manages a customer or client's data. It fulfills a legal requirement to protect a customer or client's privacy.

Data is collected when you use one of our products. Our products include web and mobile applications, which are designed and built for the purpose of discovering and booking work spaces around the world.

Personal data collection occurs when you sign up for a SpareDesk user account, and continues each time you are in one and using of our applications.

You must have a SpareDesk user account in order to use our products

When you sign up to SpareDesk we collect the following data, either via a social login integration such as Facebook or Twitter or by asking you directly for the information:

• Name (First and Last)

• Gender

• Email Address

• City (Where you are physically located at the time of signing in)

• Facebook Profile Picture

If the data is initially supplied by a social login integration, then it is refreshed each time you log into one of our applications.

As mentioned above your location is retreived, reverse-geocoded to retreive your City and stored each time you open and use one of our applications. SpareDesk only stores the reverse-geocoded result of your current city and we do not store any other location data in our servers.

The City name retreived and stored is used to show you listings that are in your current City.

Whilst not stored in anyway, an application may use your current location coordinates to filter listings by distance, show your current location on a map, or to provide routing / direction details from your current location to the location of a listing. This realtime location data never leaves your device and is not stored by us in anyway.

Location Data including realtime coordinates may be shared with third party apps including Uber, Google Maps and Apple Maps for the purposes of providing you with additional services such as maps to your destination, or a uber booking.

SpareDesk uses Stripe to handle all payments in our applications. SpareDesk never transmits or stores any information in relation to payment.

In order to improve our applications and user experience for you, we use user tracking software Google Analytics and Intercom. These provide SpareDesk with anonomysed metadata such as your behaviour in the application and details on your device.

All data collected by SpareDesk as outlined above it strictly only used internally to provide and imporve our services to you. SpareDesk willnever sell, giveaway or otherwise compromise any of your personal information unless stipulated within this privacy policy.

When you make a workspace booking via SpareDesk we are required to send your personal information to the provider of that space. The information we send them is as follows:

• Full Name

• Email Address

• How much you paid for the booking

• What dates you made the booking for

At their discretion the workspace provider may ask for additional information at the time of your arrival. Information collected in that instance falls beyond the scope of this privacy policy.

SpareDesk Technology Limited is a company registered in the United Kingdom and is governed by UK law and regulations. Should an authority with the required warrant request information on yourself, we will provide it, to the best of our ability, unless we have a compelling and legal reason not to.
